This kit, in addition to natural gas or a house propane source, provides the ability to connect your generator to a portable propane tank. Generator Conversion Kits are an aftermarket product designed to add the ability to connect Natural Gas or Propane to your gasoline generator. This kit attaches a billet aluminum venturi'd adapter to the gasoline carburetor which feeds the vapor fuel into the engine. It includes a demand regulator for controlling the fuel flow and a power valve to adjust the richness of fuel to achieve the engines optimal efficiency under load.

Honda: GX390 (Side Mount Air Cleaner Only), GX270 (Side Mount Air Cleaner Only)
It also works on most 337cc, 389cc, 420cc, 439cc, 457cc and 500cc engines with a side mounted air cleaner.
FRAME MODIFICATION NOTE: If you do not have space available to reattach your air cleaner, you may have to perform a frame modification. CLICK HERE for an example of what a frame modification involves.

Unfortunately, we do not know if every generator out there needs their frame modified. Therefore, we are unsure if you need to cut the frame. The air cleaner will be pushed outwards about 1-1/4”. If you need to modify your frame, please visit our support center: "How to Cut a Generator Frame".
