DESCRIPTION
The C-T50 is a two-stage, primary and secondary regulator for LP-Gas using vapor withdrawal
for stationary and mobile engine application. Some models are supplied with a built-in vacuum
controlled 100% shutoff when engine stops. The C-T50 regulator has an idle fuel adjust for fuel
mixtures for starting in place where a separate idle line is not needed. Manual primer on back
cover is optional. A fuel filter is recommended for this unit.

C-T60-N-2L: 6 PSI, W/ VACUUM LOCKOFF DIAPHRAGM, NO PRIMER
The Century model C-T60-N-2L has been reverse engineered to replace most Nikki regulators for field replacement. The back cover has 2 mounting lugs with the same dimensional pattern as the Nikki regulator. Water, fuel out location, and thread sizes are the same. Vacuum port in the Nikki regulator has a pressed in fitting where Century's regulator will need a fitting installed to accept a vacuum hose. Standard thread size in the Century regulator is 1/8' NPT with either a 3/16' or 1/4' NPT I.D. hose size/90 degree elbow fitting.
Note: All units have tamper caps included, per CARB, for primary pressure adjustment and idle adjustment area. Tamper cap to be installed at idle area by the approved installer once final fuel mixtures are set on site. Units have primary pressure settings pre-set at the factory at 6 PSI.

Description
The C-MR-1, C-MR-1-AH, C-MR1-I, C-MR1-I-P, C-MR1-AH-I, & C-MR1-AH-I-P regulators are a compact two stage double diaphragm type regulator
designed specifically for use with small air cooled engines. It combines both primary and final
secondary stage regulator into a single compact unit. The regulator is simple to mount on any
engine size up to around 28 HP by means of a multi-purpose type bracket. The C-MR-1
regulator uses vapor fuel and the C-MR-1-AH can used liquid with the fins mounted next to a
heated exhaust area. The fuel inlet received fuel from the fuel tank and the fuel out flows to the
carburetor or adaptor.
Operation
Vaporized fuel is admitted to the regulator inlet at tank pressure (up to 250 psi). Since the
secondary valve is closed, the pressure on the internal side of the primary diaphragm builds up
until it overcomes the spring acting on the other side of the diaphragm. The primary valve is
held open by the primary diaphragm spring until the pressure in the primary chamber reaches 2
to 3 psi, at which point the force on the diaphragm balances the spring force and closes the
valve. The secondary diaphragm, actuated by vacuum obtained from the carburetor or
adaptor acts against the secondary valve spring. As this vacuum begins acting on the
diaphragm, the diaphragm is moved nearer the center of the regulator, opening the secondary
valve. As more fuel is required, vacuum from the carburetor or adaptor increases, causing the
secondary valve to open further, admitting more fuel. When fuel is flowing, the pressure on the
primary diaphragm is lowered slightly, permitting the spring to open the primary valve to
attempt to bring the pressure back to 3 psi.
