This repair kit for all Model J Impco converters. It includes all wear items that periodically require replacement. Rebuilding your Model J converter is an inexpensive alternative to replacing a failed converter. Part number RK-J-2 is similar to RK-J and may be used in place of RK-J. RK-J - 2 incorporates a silicone diaphragm which is more resistant to the harmful byproducts of LPG than RK-J. Being a lighter material the silicone diaphragm is also slightly more responsive. Part number RK-J-2 includes the following items: Primary diaphragm, Primary seat, Primary plate gasket, Silicone Secondary diaphragm, Secondary lever, Secondary seat, Pin for secondary lever. The RK-J-2 includes complete easy to follow instructions for rebuilding all Model J converters.
