The Impco CA55-271 is a custom fit carburetor assembly for Toyota 4Y engine applications. This assembly comes complete with a two stud airhorn adapter for the Toyota air cleaner bonnet, and a manifold adapter that allows the carburetor to be a direct replacement for the gasoline carburetor. Since the 4Y engine requires a a long throttle shaft for proper throttle cable alignment, Impco has designed a custom casting to support the carburetor shaft. This prevents the throttle shaft from failing.This replaces carburetor CA55-171(obsolete).
