Propane Tank at a Home

Propane

Whether you are using Propane or Natural Gas, the principle remains the same. Vapor fuel that comes to your home is usually a higher pressure than what our conversion kits can accept. A typical gas flow scheme for our conversion kits is designed to accept 11 inches of water column (6 - 8 ounces per square inch) [a half pound of pressure]. If you do not know what pressure you have, please contact your gas utilities company. If you want to know how to connect to a Portable Propane Tank, please see Portable Propane(LP) Tanks Installation On Generator Guild.

Our Dual Fuel Kit is perfect to run on Stationary Propane(LP) / Natural Gas that comes off your home.

Dual Fuel Kit

Our fuel regulator(C-039-122) ONLY ACCEPTS 6 - 8 ounces per square inch. Make sure your fuel supply is at the right pressure. Your connection from generator to pipe is not supplied.

Pipe size is very important if you are running long distances, please see chart below to figure out what you need.
