Proper use of the generator tent while your generator is running: Outside temperatures up to 70° F, you can close all panels except the exhaust opening panel.

Outside temperatures between 71-80° F, you should partially open topside vent and open both panels fully on exhaust end. You can fold up the half panel with sound proofing Azdel and roll up the exhaust panel and secure with its Velcro strap.

Outside temperatures between 80-100° F, you should open in the full topside vent, and open both panels fully on exhaust end.

Outside temperatures over 100° F, we recommend not using the tent to prevent any change of the generator overheating. This is only a precaution, but extreme heat can accumulate and cause field winding damage of the stater/rotor.
