- I purchased the Tri-Fuel kit and a SE-19A Quick Disconnect for a Yamaha MZ 300 engine on my portable generator. I purchased new fittings from a local plumbing supply store to replace a 90 elbow with a new fitting to attach the quick disconnect and valve that came with the kit. I had my grandson install and attach the fuel kit parts to the generator frame and after we hooked it up it started and ran like it was a factory installed option. Other than the shipping costs to send the additional parts I ordered, I am very happy with how easy it was to install and how well it has performed. No more hunting down gas stations during a hurricane and having to store gas at the house. I haven't tried running it on propane yet, but who needs it when you have unlimited natural gas on tap at the house. It's just another option if we need it. (Posted on 6/22/2015)
