- Q. Will my generator run too hot on propane or natural gas?
- A. Generally, it will run hotter, but not hot enough to do any damage. Gasoline will cause more problems. Gasoline gums up and isn’t consistent, when propane and natural gas keep your engine running smooth and clean.
- Q. Can I use a quick disconnect fitting for my gas line?
- A. Yes. We have a whole family of quick disconnects.
- Q. How long will my Generator run on a 20# propane tank?
- A. It depends on the size of your generator as well as the load you are putting on it. It is comparable to 4.5 gallons of gasoline.
- Q. Do I need to cut my frame?
- A. It depends on the generator. The air cleaner will be pushed outwards about 1-1/4”. About 90% of generators will need to have the frame modified.
